About Me

Moshi-Moshi means "say, say" or "hello"  (on the phone) in Japanese.

I hope you decide to wander around in my world. I am passionate about life, I love to travel, I have many random thoughts, I LOVE trains, straws, arches, bridges, stairs, #whole30 and drumming on my steering wheel. I have a typewriter (Poe), a car (Moshi), an adopted Baby Grand Wurlitzer (Ella May), and an iMac (Elliot) that I can't seem to live without.

I write what I feel, when I feel it, and I don't hold back...much.

I am a writer, singer, piano player, and I know ASL. I am a lover of punk kids. I work with them, teach them at church, and can't seem to get enough of them. I am the oldest of 8 children and I LOVE my family. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints—I am Mormon and I love it!

I went to BYU and got a degree in English (Creative Writing) and minored in Linguistics/Editing. I then went on to get my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from ASU

I absolutely love to travel!!! I have been to Jerusalem (study abroad), Italy, Africa (Ghana & Egypt), Scotland, Ireland, England, Canada, & Mexico. I want to go to Japan, Thailand, India, Prague, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, and so many more...

I started out as a therapist (Shadow) at The ANASAZI Foundation but currently work as a Family Therapist at The Oakley School, a Therapeutic Boarding School.

When I'm not working I am usually reading a great book or writing. I love music—singing, writing songs, playing the piano, and helping out (from a distance) the non-profit/for-profits I co-founded called INSPIRE: music.service.hope and INSPIRE Entertainment.

My parents will pay you if you find me a husband.
